Welcome! 🎉 Whether you’re a pro at speech practice or just starting out, we’ve got everything you need to help your child improve their speech skills in a fun and easy way. Let’s dive in!
First Things First: Gather Some Info
The ideal way to use At Home Articulation is with guidance from a speech-language pathologist (SLP). They can pinpoint exactly which sounds to focus on and help you tailor your practice. But don’t worry if you don’t have an SLP—we’ve got you covered! Here’s how to get started:
If Your Child Has a Speech-Language Pathologist:
Reach out to them and gather these three key details:
- Sound: Which sound is your child practicing? (e.g., “S” or “R”)
- Word Position: Where in the word does this sound occur? (beginning, middle, or end)
- Level: What level of complexity are they working on? (single words, phrases, sentences, etc.)
These three pieces of info will help you create the perfect practice game at home!
If Your Child Isn’t Working with an SLP:
No problem! 👍 You can still get started with our easy-to-follow video tutorials. These quick videos will walk you through choosing the right sounds and setting up practice sessions.
