Getting Started Guide for Parents/Caregivers: Let’s Start Practicing! 🎉

Step 1: Keep an Eye Out for the Homework Email 📧

• Your next step is to wait for an email from your child’s speech therapist with their first homework assignment. 
• The email will have everything you need to get started!

Step 2: Download the App 📱

Decide where you want to practice—on your phone, tablet, or computer!

•  If you’re using a mobile device (like a phone or tablet):
  • Head to your device’s app store and search for **“At Home Articulation”**.
  • Apple Users: App Store Link - At Home Articulation
  • Android Users: Google Play Store Link - At Home Articulation
• Quick Tip: Download the app and log in with the same email and password you used during registration.

Step 3: Open the Homework Email 📬

Look out for an email titled “Speech Homework for [Your Child’s First Name]”.

• In this email, you’ll see:
  • The sound, word position, and level your child will be practicing.
  • There may be a light blue message box with extra tips, instructions, or words of encouragement from your child’s speech therapist.
  • Links to start practicing on a computer or mobile device

Step 4: Get Ready to Practice! 🎮

You can practice on a computer or a mobile device—your choice! Clicking the link in the homework email will take you right to the Game Menu.

Navigating the Game Menu:

• If you used the link from the email, the sound, word position, and level will already be selected for you. Easy peasy!
• Just pick a game from the menu and click “Let’s Play!” 🕹️

Important Note: It’s critical that you do not practice the wrong sound with your child.  Make sure that the sound selected is the sound that was sent by your child’s speech therapist.  

Step 5: Have Fun Practicing! 🥳

Each game includes helpful tips and tricks for making the sound correctly, plus a mini-video tutorial to guide you along.
